 Hello - and thanks for visiting my site! I'm Andrew and I am based in Birmingham, in the West Midlands, but I happily travel all over the country to shoot weddings. I understand that your wedding day may be the most important day of your life so far, and for me it is a once in a lifetime event that should be photographed discreetly. I believe that your wedding day doesn't just start when you walk down the aisle, it starts with the perfect dress that you chose hanging on the back of a door, and the sound of the doorbell as your flowers arrive, and with the hugs of friends, family and loved ones wishing you well before you even have the make up on... and that is where my day starts too. For most brides, the morning itself has taken months to plan, organise and arrange, and there is so much emotion at this time of the day that a perfect record of the day would naturally include it. Some brides may worry about not having their make up on in the photos, but these are memories that you won't get a chance to repeat again. The look of a father as he sees his daughter in a wedding dress for the very first time is a look that you simply can't repeat. All my life I have been fascinated by photography and have strived to develop my skills over the years. Initially inspired by landscapes, I soon realised that my true passion lay in photographing people. Over time I began to realise that weddings were the perfect mix of combining beautiful images of people, with great scenery, and fine details. I enjoy shooting weddings as much as portraits of adults and children. For me, there is no better result than the look on someone’s face when they see amazing photos of themselves. I love capturing moments in time that can be gone in an instant and then turning them into treasured memories. The details on your wedding day that would otherwise be forgotten, the smiles you didn’t notice, and even the bits you didn’t see happening. During a wedding I will mostly stay in the background without getting involved, capturing things as they happen, and will only begin to pose a few people when absolutely necessary. Being involved in planning my own wedding, I fully understand the importance of finding the right photographer, someone you can trust to take great photos, who can remain friendly, calm and focused. This can see like a tricky task with so many to choose from, but I make sure that I keep your happiness a priority all day long and always remember that it is your wedding, not mine! It is my job to keep you both calm and relaxed, ensuring your enjoy the whole experience. |
